Centripetal Motion

We know about the velocity and acceleration vectors for circular motion. Now let's talk about the term Centripetal Motion. It literally means "center seeking".

Click HERE to visit your first activity today. Answer the questions at the bottom of the page (scroll down). There are two sets. The first is about net forces and the second is about vectors.

Next we'll watch a segment of Mythbusters to discover if someone on a swing could go completely around in a circle.

Finally, complete the Centripetal Motion handout that has been given to you.
